About Me

I have over 20 years’ experience working with young people and their families within the education sector. I began my career in teaching in further education colleges, and my passion for supporting people eventually led me to retrain as a counsellor. I currently work within a charity that offer free and low-cost counselling to young people and adults. This experience has given me an understanding of the many different challenges people can face and the impact that mental health and emotional difficulties can have on everyday life.

You don’t need to have everything figured out before coming to counselling. Sometimes you may know exactly what you would like support with, while other times you may simply know something doesn’t feel right. Reaching out is the first step. Together we can explore what is happening for you at a pace that feels right.
